Apply to the Community Opportunity Fund

AFCD invites organized grassroots groups in western Kenya to apply for support through the Community Opportunity Fund & Partnership Platform.

This application helps AFCD identify community priorities, profile organized groups, and connect eligible applicants with funding opportunities, training, mentorship, equipment support, market linkages, and development partnerships.

Important Notice

Submission of an application does not guarantee funding or support. AFCD will review applications and pursue opportunities based on available partnerships, identified priorities, and eligibility criteria.

Only one application per group will be considered.

Supporting documents may be requested from shortlisted groups during verification.

Who Can Apply?

Community Groups

Women groups, youth groups, savings groups, farmer groups, disability groups and cooperatives.

Location

Groups must be based in Kisumu, Homa Bay, Siaya, Busia, Migori or Trans Nzoia County.

Commitment

Applicants should be organized, active and committed to improving livelihoods or addressing community challenges.
